Application of Green Packaging Material

1.Paper packaging

Paper packaging is a green packaging material that has a broader application and development prospect. With a wide range of raw materials, paper packaging materials, low-cost features, but also has a recyclable and degradable features, these features reflect the green environmental performance of paper packaging materials.

2.Biodegradable packaging

Degradable materials have a high demand for additives. Materials such as starch, vitamins and biodegradable agents can be added to degradable packaging materials according to the demand of the main structure of the packaging, with the aim of reducing the stability of the packaging materials. There is obvious application value of biodegradable packaging materials in disposable packaging boxes. However, due to the fragility of such materials, the practical application is fewer.

3.Edible packaging

At present, edible packaging materials are mainly used in food packaging, which usually comes into direct contact with food, and it is necessary to ensure that the packaging materials will not affect food safety. Edible packaging materials are usually composed of proteins and other substances with water absorption. These characteristics lead to a very limited range of practical applications for edible packaging materials.

Paper material has the advantages of affordable and cheap, green, plasticity and so on. Environmentally friendly packaging materials in the application of packaging will become the trend in future.
